Xugana Island Lodge is situated in the heart of the Okavango Delta, nestling under a canopy of wild ebony and garcina trees. It faces onto the blue waters and tranquillity of Xugana Lagoon – a permanent part of the Delta. Xugana reflects the timeless pace of a bygone Africa, when the bushman would drink from the promised waters of the Xugana lagoon after a long and tiring hunt. The lodge accommodates 16 guests in large raised reed and thatch chalets situated on a shaded fringe island, each with a lagoon view through the lagoon-side vegetation. The lounge, bar and dining areas are set back under the Fig and Leadwood tree canopy in open sided thatched areas. The swimming pool, located amongst the mature gardens in the centre of the island, is a perfect place to relax.
