The Manor is situated on the Shangri-la estate, a 1,500 acre property adjacent to the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania.

All its cottages offer a private courtyard and deck to sit and relax on, as well as en-suite bathroom with a bath, indoor fireplace (as well as an outdoor one) and beautiful furnishings and decor in keeping with the style of the architecture and location. All this whilst situated in lush gardens of flowering plants, shaded by the canopy of ancient trees.

The Manor Lodge Ngorongoro is located on the south of the Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania, Africa. The Lodge is accessed by road upon your arrival to Manyara Airstrip from Arusha Airport. The Ngorongoro Crater is a prehistoric site still kept in an Eden-like setting filled with wild animals and their caretakers. Those fortunate enough to make travel arrangements to the Manor Lodge Ngorongoro will be rewarded with sights that only the privileged few have seen. The Manor was built as a natural viewing portal to the wonders of the Ngorongoro Crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is protected by African law from the encroachments of poachers. Elephants and buffalo roam and throngs of pink flamingos grace the waters in a beautiful landscape that only a few will ever be witness to.
