This wonderful camp is located under a grove of ebony trees in a wonderful setting on the banks of the Luangwa River. The view overlooking a wide bend of the river and the ebony woodland and open grass plains is spectacular. The camp is small and exclusive and only accommodates 12 guests. The cool and spacious guest chalets are luxurious and beautifully designed and come complete with private open-air bathrooms. All the chalets have a private terrace which overlooks the river. The common areas are all under thatch and are breezy and spacious. The magnificent bar, on the banks of the river, has been creatively built around an enormous ebony tree. The sunsets from this vantage point are spectacular and are frequently accompanied by a large herd of elephant crossing the river. Excellent bush dinners, prepared by the chef, can be enjoyed in the separate dining area which overlooks a small lagoon which often attracts game to drink. There is a lovely swimming pool to relax in during the heat of the day, or to cool off after a safari. The camp offers a full laundry service. As the camp is owner run, you will be warmly welcomed. The camp is intimate and highly personalized and exceptional service will ensure that your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. |
