Rajasthan is the ancient heart of Mogul India and is packed with ancient cities, beautiful palaces and imposing fortresses. Its natural attractions vary from barren deserts, covered with towering sand dunes and isolated settlements to exotic bazaars, peaceful lakes with floating palaces, ancient havelis and colourful local peoples. It is the India you have imagined; exotic, colourful, bustling, fascinating and yours to discover.

Day 1 Arrive Delhi
You are met on arrival by your guide and vehicle, who will take you to your hotel to settle in. In the afternoon your guide will take you on a sightseeing tour to see the highlights of both Old and New Delhi.
Day 2 : Delhi - Mandawa
Leave in good time for Mandawa, a drive of 200 kilometres that will take 5 hours. After checking into your hotel the afternoon will be spend exploring the bazaars and haveli - the ornate homes of rich merchants and prienst that are highly ornate and decorated.
Day 3 : Mandawa - Bikaner
Morning drive on to Bikaner, arriving at the Lalgarh Palace Hotel in time for a leisurely lunch. The afternoon is spent exploring the fort and palace, as well as walking some of the huge defensive town walls built in 1488 A.D.
Day 4 : Bikaner - Jaisalmer
Morning drive through the arid landscape that surrounds the ancient desert town of Jaisalmer. This beautiful town has retained much of its character, built of local stone and once the prosperous centre of the trading caravans that crossed the desert. This is reflected in the magnificent havelis that still litter the old town.
Day 5 : Jaisalmer
A full day to enjoy this unique town. A morning visit to the Jain Temple and city fort is followed by an afternoon camel excursion out into the desert to visit the sand dunes.
Day 6 : Jaisalmer - Jodhpur
Your next stop is Jodhpur, situated to the south of the Thar Desert. The city is dominated by the magnificent 15th century fort built on a huge rock outcrop in the heart of the old town. The Umaid Bhawan Palace is still the residence of the Maharaja and also a hotel.
Day 7 : Jodhpur - Mandore - Jodhpur
A trip to explore the well preserved town of Mandore with its narrow, streets and busy bazaars of the old city.
Day 8 : Jodhpur - Udaipur
In the morning you visit the temples of Ranakpur, the most ornate and important Jain temples in India. You then continue on to the city of Udaipur situated on the edge of a lake.
Day 9 : Udaipur
The day is spend exploring Udaipur, visitng the City palace that overlooks Pichoola Lake. The afternoon is free to relax or further explore.
Day 10 : Udaipur - Bundi
Leaving Udaipur you drive to the unique town of Bundi, surrounded on three sides by the Aravalli hills and by a massive wall with four gateways on the other.
Day 11 : Bundi - Jaipur
A morning of sightseeing in this less visited town, taking in the Taragarh Fort and Palace. After lunch you continue to the Pink city of Jaipur, arriving early evening. Over
Day 12 : Jaipur
In the morning you leave Jaipur for the short drive to Amber Palace, one of the largest and most spectacular forts in all Rajastan, with the chance to ride an elephant up to its imposing gates. Returning to Jaipur in the afternoon you will be guided around the Palace Museum and Observatory with its many fascinatins astronomical structures.
Day 13 : Jaipur - Delhi
Return to Delhi in time for your onward flight.
