Tanzania Luxury Safari and Zanzibar

Exclusive lodges, your own private 4x4 vehicle and guide and flights for the longer transfers. This is our ultimate Tanzania safari followed by a relaxing stay at one of Zanzibar's most luxurious boutique hotels.
This safari is for those that want to experience Tanzania in real style. You avoid the long drives by flying in and out of the Serengeti, with some shorter drives allowing you to experience the beauty of the Tanzanian countryside and its colourful people. For these journeys you have a private 4x4 vehicle and driver-guide.
You visit the most famous national parks in Tanzania; Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti, and stay in some of Tanzania’s most up-market boutique properties.
At the end of this you transfer to the island of Zanzibar to enjoy the beautiful beaches and warm waters of this fabled island from the luxury of one of its best hotels, Ras Nungwi.
This is a private tour (minimum 2 people). It can depart on any day you wish (subject to availability).

Day 1
Depart the UK.
Day 2
Arrive at Kilimanjaro airport. You will be met off the flight and transferred to the Arusha Coffee Lodge. The rest of the day is free to relax or explore.
Day 3
After an early breakfast you will be met by your guide and driven to Tarangire Treetops for lunch. After lunch you can relax before heading out on your afternoon game drive.
Day 4
A full day on safari in Tarangire National Park, with morning and evening game drives.
Day 5
After breakfast depart for the Ngorongoro Highlands, stopping en route to enjoy the scenery. Dinner and overnight at Manor Lodge.
Day 6
Today you will descend down the 2,000ft walls of the Ngorongoro Crater, a World Heritage Site and home to nearly 25,000 animals, where you will have a very scenic picnic lunch. Spend the afternoon game viewing. Dinner and overnight at Manor Lodge.
Day 7
After breakfast, you will transfer to the airstrip for your flight to the Serengeti. On arrival you are met by a camp vehicle and transferred there for lunch. You then enjoy an afternoon on safari on the predator-rich plains of the Serengeti. Dinner and overnight at Migration Camp.
Day 8
A full day to explore the Serengeti, the most famous national park in Africa. Your local guide will choose your route based on his extensive knowledge of the park and local conditions but the Serengeti rarely disappoints. Your trip might include tracking cheetah through the Gol Kopjes, hunting leopard along the Seronera River, avoiding the crocs and hippos at Retima or exploring the Masai paintings at Moru Kopjes. Dinner and overnight at Migration Camp.
Day 9
Morning flight back to Arusha and transfer to the airport in time for your connecting flight to Zanzibar. On arrival you are met and transferred to your exclusive hotel, Ras Nungwi.

Transfer to the airport in time for your flight home.
Day 14
Arrive UK.
Price is per person based on two sharing and includes:
- International and domestic flights
- Full board while on safari (3 meals per day). Half-board on Zanzibar.
- Accommodation in 4-5* Lodges/Hotels.
- Park entrance fees
- Transport in a private 4x4 vehicle, except in the Serengeti where camp vehicles are used.
- Game drives and transfers

The price per person based on two people sharing varies between £3,945 (1st-23rd April) and £5,295 (14th July - 19th August).
The price based on four people travelling together varies from £3,595 (1st-23rd April) and £4,945 (14th July - 19th Aug).
This is based on the best priced flights and the accommodation listed. Should these not be available, the price will increase.
