A luxury safari and tour of South Africa's world famous Garden Route, staying at superb properties.
On this tour you start with a safari at Shamwari Private Reserve, one of the most exclusive game parks in South Africa and home to the Big 5. You then explore the Garden Route, the strip of coastline between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth famed for its beautiful scenery and varied flora and fauna. You have plenty of time to explore while staying at luxury properties with charm and character. At the end there is time to explore the beautiful city of Cape Town. This tour can also be done with a driver rather than as a self-drive. Please contact us for prices.
This is a private tour (minimum 2). It can depart on any day you wish (subject to availability).

Day 1
Depart the UK.
Day 2
Arrive in Port Elizabeth. On arrival you are met and transferred to your accommodation, La Provence Country House.
Day 3
Your car is delivered to La Provence in the morning and you drive to the Shamwari Private Game Reserve, staying at Eagles Crag Lodge. Upon checking in to your suite a lodge representative will give you an orientation of the lodge, giving you information about the reserve; then advising meal times and activity times. You will also be advised on security – in regard to not walking through the lodge alone at night.Relax at the swimming pool before you depart on your evening game drive.
Day 4
On safari with morning and evening game drives included..
Day 5
After a morning game drive and breakfast you drive west along the garden Route to Knysna, a pretty town at the heart of this scenic coastline.
Day 6
You have the day at leisure to explore the sights of the Garden Route and explore Knysna.
Day 7
You have the day at leisure to explore the sights of the Garden Route and explore Knysna.
Day 8
Another day to explore the coastline and parks of this beautiful area.
Day 9
Continue west along the Garden Route to Hermanus, famous for its views of the ocean and whale-spotting.
Day 10
Travel via the scenic Theeswaterskloof Dam and via the Franschhoek Pass to Mont Rochelle Hotel in the Winelands of the Western Cape Province.
Day 11
Continue to Cape Town where you stay near the famous Victoria and Alfred Waterfront.
Day 12
Free day to explore Cape Town.
Day 13
Free day to explore Cape Town.
Day 14
Morning free. Drive to the airport in time for your flight home to the UK.
Day 15
Arrive UK.
Price is per person based on two sharing and includes:
