This relaxing safari starts at one of the Masai Mara’s most atmospheric camps. The setting is truly magical - so much so that almost a century ago it was reserved exclusively for Kenya’s colonial Governors and their royal visitors. Governors’ Camp nestles in the forest along the winding banks of the Mara River, its waters teeming with hippo and crocodile. After game-viewing, you fly to the coast to relax at the Pinewood Beach Resort and Spa, which sits on the fabulous turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean.

This is a private tour (minimum 2). It can depart on any day you wish (subject to availability) and other beach hotels in both Kenya or Zanzibar can be added on request.

Day 1
Depart UK.

Day 2
On arrival at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be met by and transferred to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport for your flight to the Masai Mara. On arrival at the Masai Mara airstrip you will be met and transferred on a game drive to Governor’s Camp. Afternoon at leisure until heading off for your evening game-drive. Supper at the lodge.

Days 3-4
Early morning breakfasts followed by game drives. You return to Governor’s Camp in time for lunch. This is followed by a rest before your afternoon game drives. Dinner and overnight at Governor’s Camp.

Day 5
Early morning breakfast then you will be transferred to the Masai Mara Airstrip for your flight to Mombasa, in time to connect with your flight to the coast. On arrival you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel, Pinewoods Beach Resort and Spa.

Days 6-11
At leisure.

Day 12
You will be transferred to the airport for your flight to London.

Day 13
Arrive UK.
