On arrival, you will have a safari briefing, followed by a relaxing cruise on the Chobe river. This will give you a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the sights of elephants, hippos, crocodiles and a wide variety of water and land birds from the comfort of the boat. On our return to shore, lunch is served before departing for a game-drive en-route to your campsite in the Chobe National Park. This park is the second largest national park in Botswana and has one of the greatest concentrations of game found on the African continent. Its uniqueness in the abundance of wildlife and the true African nature of the region, offers a safari experience of a lifetime. A major feature of Chobe National Park is the elephant population currently estimated at around 120,000. The Chobe elephant are migratory, making seasonal movements of up to 200 km from the Chobe and Linyanti rivers, where they concentrate in the dry season, to the pans in the southeast of the park, to which they disperse in the rains. Dinner and overnight Chobe Game Lodge.
Day 3 After a light breakfast, you will be transferred to the airstrip for a charter
flight to Savuti. Savuti is located in the Western corner of the Chobe National
Park. Often described as one of, if not the best, wildlife-viewing areas in
Africa today. Savuti boasts one of the highest concentrations of wildlife left
on the African continent. Enjoy the experience of untamed Africa once again
on a late afternoon game-drive, returning to the camp just after sunset.
Dinner and overnight Savuti Safari Lodge.
Day 4 Spend a full day exploring this wonderful park. Wake up with the birds to
experience the thrill of an African sunrise. Enjoy an early morning game-

during the early morning and early evening, when the heat is not too intense.
A stop to see the bushman paintings is included. The majority of game to be
found in this area are present during all seasons, and at certain times of the
year their numbers can be staggering. The major species including giraffe,
elephant, zebra, impala, tsessebe, roan, sable, wildebeest, kudu, buffalo,
waterbuck, warthog, eland and accompanying predators including lion, hyena,
jackal, bat-eared fox and possibly even cheetah and wild dog, are all found in
this region. Perhaps take a waterborn game activity in the afternoon. Return
to the lodge at sunset. Dinner and overnight Savuti Safari Lodge.

Moremi Game Reserve. Moremi is a beautiful wildlife reserve – it combines
mopane woodland and acacia forests, floodplains and lagoons. Moremi is
best visited in the dry season and game viewing is at its peak from July to
October, when seasonal pans dry up and the wildlife concentrates on the
permanent water. At any time of the year, game is prolific. Rest and relax
until the afternoon's game-drive. Dinner and overnight Camp Moremi.

excitement of tracking animals in open Land Rovers - game drives are

the year, with a visit to the heronries on Gadikwe Island by powerboat. It is
the great diversity of plant and animal life that makes Moremi so well known.
The reserve contains within its boundaries approximately twenty percent of
the Okavango Delta. Birdlife is prolific and varied, ranging from waterbirds
to shy forest dwellers. There are many species of ducks end geese, as well as
an amazing variety of heron. Elephants are numerous, particularly during the
dry season, as well as a range of other wildlife species from buffalo, giraffe,
lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dog, hyaena, jackal and the full range of antelope,
large and small, including the red lechwe. Wild dog, whose numbers are so
rapidly dwindling elsewhere, are regularly sighted in the Moremi and have
been subject to a project being run in the area since 1989. Dinner and
overnight Camp Moremi.

the island by boat. This lodge is situated on a wooded island abutting the
Xugana lagoon. It is part of the Xugana private concession - widely accepted
as being the most spectacular permanent water site in the entire Delta. The
island is one of Botswana’s most unique wildlife and wilderness sanctuaries.
It is in the permanent Delta, a world of crystal clear waterways winding

lagoons, home to bream, catfish and the fighting tiger-fish and fringed by
secret wooded islands, haven for the magnificent bird and wildlife that inhabit
the Delta. Dinner and overnight Xugana Island Lodge.
