Day 1 Depart the UK in the evening.
Day 2 After a non-stop flight to Johannesburg, you connect to your flight to Livingstone. On arrival at Livingstone Airport you will be met by our representative and
transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.
Days 3 - 4 You have 2 days to enjoy the world-famous Victoria Falls. There are several excursions you can book locally or just wander on foot to see this remarkable spectacle.
Day 5 After breakfast, transferred by road to Chobe National Park. Access to Chobe from Livingstone is via Kasane in Northern Botswana. It is a simple 2 hour transfer on fine tarred roads. The Chobe National Park, which is the second largest national park in Botswana and covers 10,566 square km, has one of the greatest concentrations of game found on the African continent. Its uniqueness in the abundance of wildlife and the true African nature of the region, offers a safari experience of a lifetime. The park is divided into four distinctly different eco systems: Serondela with its lush plains and dense forests in the Chobe River area in the extreme north-east; the Savuti Marsh in the west; the Linyanti Swamps in the north-west and the hot dry hinterland in between.
A major feature of Chobe National Park is the elephant population currently estimated at around 120,000. The Chobe elephant are migratory, making seasonal movements of up to 200 km from the Chobe and Linyanti rivers, where they concentrate in the dry season, to the pans in the southeast of the park, to which they disperse in the rains. Dinner and overnight Kubu Lodge.
Day 6 Two game activities are included in your stay. The lodge offers both game
drives and boat cruises into the Chobe National Park. The large diversity of
landscape and vegetation, with the great variety of bird life and game,
including large herds of buffalo, makes Chobe a wildlife experience not to be
missed. The game drives into the Chobe National Park follow the routes
along the Chobe riverfront, which supports the greatest abundance of wildlife
in the park. The three-hour sunset boat cruise, up the Chobe River into the
National Park, on the pontoon Fish Eagle, King Fisher or Chobe Belle offer a
pleasurable cruise with the luxury of a cash bar. Driven by the same thirst, the
animals also make their way to the waters edge in the afternoons, providing a
unique game viewing opportunity. Smaller boats may also be hired for game
viewing or fishing. For the more adventurous, the lodge also offers a night
drive into the Lesoma Valley. The more energetic can take part in a scenic
safari walk through the valley.
Day 7 After breakfast, you will be met by our representative and transferred to
