The Karen Blixen Camp in the Masai Mara has been one of our favourite Kenyan Camps since it opened three years ago. It has recently teamed up with other luxury camps and lodges to offer a luxury safari holiday that takes you to some of the best wildlife areas in the country.


You will stay at Severin safari Camp in Tsavo West, with luxury spa, exceptional service and great wildlife viewing. Kilimanjaro.


There is, of course, a stay in the Northern conservancy of the Mara at the Karen Blixen Camp. Its 22 tents all give views from private verandas over the Mara River and escarpement, with a constant stream of animals coming to drink and cooling drink or afternoon tea, while watching the resident hippos in the river, the young getting up to mischief as the adults sleep.


Between the lodges and camps you travel in a private Cessna plane, fitted out with every luxury to make the journey as much a highlight of the holiday and the accommodation.
