Wild Dogs seen back in the Masai Mara
In the 1980's Wild dogs were a common site on the plains of the Mara, running down their prey with ruthless efficiency. A combination of domesticated species moving in and local farmers killing them led to their disappearance from the reserve, but they have now been spotted and photographed back again.
Packs have been spotted before but only migrating through. The latest sightings indicate that the animals are back and living within the boundaies. For more information and photos, please visit WildlifeExtra.com.
