Serena lodges announce new properties.
Serena Hotels have taken over the management of 2 properties in the Selous Game Reserve in Southern Tanzania.
The Mivumo River Lodge and the Selous Wildlife Lodge are both bespoke boutique properties and will offer luxury accommodation in this new destination.
Its also come to light that they are to open a new property on Nidere Island. The Kenya Wildlife service is also going to revamp the area in an attempt to get it more onto the safari circuit.
This comes shortly alter Serena announcede that they are to open a lodge - the Lake Elementaita Serena Camp - at Lake Elementaita. The property will consist of 25 luxury tents and they hope provide a stop-off point for those visiting lake Nakuru National Park some 20 miles to the north. It is also convenient for Lake Naivasha.
