New fees for Masai Mara
The Mara Conservancy, in charge of running and maintaining the Masai Mara Conservation Reserve has announced that it will defer the implementation date of its new entrance fee of US$60 until July 1. It was meant to start in the spring, but the decision has been taken to encourage visitors in what has been a quiet spring for tourism in the country.
Says Charles Gitau Ngugi, Finance & Administration Manager, the date was changed after numerous requests from customers. The request was approved by the executive board of the reserve.
The increase in fees will have no affect on Real Africa clients, even if booked before they were announced as they will be absorbed by us.
